NEWSFLASH | The Discipline of Humility | Fri 4/1 | Mezzanine Lounge (W20-307)

Welcome to the MIT Graduate Christian Fellowship!
This coming week we have the opportunity to hear about the discipline of humility from Dick Keyes, director of L'Abri Fellowship in Southborough, MA. In addition to his work at L'Abri, which he has done with his wife Mardi since 1979, Dick is the author of multiple books and has been an adjunct professor at Gordon Conwell and Westminster Theological Seminary. In his diverse interests and activities, he "attempt[s] to connect important aspects of modern life to Biblical truth with a theological, apologetic and pastoral concern." Dick also enjoys reading, working in the woods, rowing, and playing blues and ragtime guitar.

At the end, we will also be announcing the plans for a leadership transition taking place over the next month. Think about how you and your friends would like to contribute to the fellowship in the next year!

Spiritual Encouragement
Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, "You shall be holy, for I am holy."
1 Peter 1:13-16
