Join us on Friday for our first large group of the year as Professor Troy Van Voorhis (Chemistry) speaks to us on what it means that our identity is "in Christ."
"Who are you?" Philosophers, self-help books and relationship guides all share one common piece of advice: be yourself. As if you already have some innate understanding of who you really are, and that you'd be better off if you were just true to that. But what if, like me, you sometimes aren't sure who you really are? What do you do then? We will discuss what it means that our identity is "in Christ" and how being true to that identity actually does make us better.
Troy is a terrific communicator and is one of the most popular Veritas Forum speakers—in fact, he now trains other professors to be Veritas speakers. Come fellowship with friends old and new. Dinner will be served at 7pm, followed by worship at 7:30pm.
