GCF News Blog: NEWSFLASH | Worship/Testimony Night | Friday 12/7 @ 7pm

Welcome to the MIT Graduate Christian Fellowship!

This Friday, we will gather around for a time of worship, reflection and sharing. Come as you are!

Announcements

Next Friday (12/14) will be a Christmas party and our last large group for the semester. Mark your calendars, and invite friends!
There is another Christmas party that our brothers and sisters in the Harvard Medical School are hosting (we're invited!). It will be the upcoming Sunday (12/9) from 5:45-7:30pm in Vanderbilt Hall JBM room (107 Avenue Louis Pasteur, Boston MA 02115). Free dinner, hot chocolate, and cookies will be provided, and you're welcome to bring other goodies. Let us know if you'd like to come!
Small group: Bible studies Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays around campus.
Serving: We would love for you to join us in building up our community! What gifts has God given you, and how can they be used to build up of His body?

Prayer Square

Pray that we may offer up the semester to God with sincere hearts.
Pray that the Christmas season will awaken hope and yearnings for God's kingdom, both in us and in those around us.

Spiritual Encouragement

You who bring good news to Zion,

go up on a high mountain.

You who bring good news to Jerusalem,

lift up your voice with a shout,

lift it up, do not be afraid;

say to the towns of Judah,

"Here is your God!"

See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power,

and he rules with a mighty arm.

See, his reward is with him,

and his recompense accompanies him.

He tends his flock like a shepherd:

He gathers the lambs in his arms

and carries them close to his heart;

he gently leads those that have young.

(Isaiah 40:9-11)
