Welcome to the MIT Graduate Christian Fellowship!

Christians with a high view of Biblical authority differ on whether or not women should be leaders in the Church. This is an important question for Christians to grapple with, as it has profound consequences for Church life.  It is also a crucial "apologetics" issue, as many men and women who perceive the Church to be a sexist institution, reject the Christian faith without even examining its claims.  We will be examining Biblical teaching on this controversial issue with speaker Mardi Keyes. Mardi and her husband Dick Keyes are founders of the L'Abri Fellowship branch in Massachusetts. Read her bio here.

• GCF is hosting an END-OF-YEAR VISION/DISCUSSION DINNER to reflect on how the fellowship has been this past year, and discuss visions for next year. The fellowship also needs new leaders for the roles of president, treasurer, web master, newsflash, and Thrive helpers. If you are interested in learning more about any of these positions, or if you have thoughts about vision, please complete this doodle.

• UCO PRAISE NIGHT is happening on the last day of class, May 15, from 8-9:30pm at the Student Center Room 407. For more information please contact Mark Ku.

• Are you interested in learning more about other religions in a group discussion with other MIT students? The ADDIR FELLOWS PROGRAM is a year-long interfaith discussion setting, bringing together people of all of the religions that are represented here at MIT. They are looking for more applicants for next year! Contact Sam Elder for more information.

• Pray that as the semester is wrapping up, God would grant us enough stamina and peace to deal with the stress from school, and to stay close to Him in all circumstances.
• Pray for those who are making plans for the summer, that God would bless each and every one of these plans and make them edifying to His people and glorifying to His name.
